I have hit a wall, y’all. I am now in the place that Jessie so beautifully described here. My struggle with creativity for the past couple weeks has been primarily work related. A crazy work schedule combined with a general lack of inspiration/motivation results in nothing to share that I am excited about. Bleh. My creative dreams have been summarily pushed to the wayside. All I have to show are some selfies. Not even cute ones. Here they are. Layered on top of each other. Using the Afterlight app.

So, here are my ACTION STEPS.
- Take pictures 3x per week. With my camera. Using film. Keeping track of the settings used on my camera.
- Take pictures everyday. With my phone.
- Draw, paint, frolic, color, dance, dabble! Every day!
- CREATE!
Yay, Claire!!!! You joined me in failing to make time for creativity despite our amazing blog that is all about making time for creativity! I like the action steps!!! The only thing that helps to prevent my creative energies from degenerating into a puddle of sloth is to set up some structure in my whimsical days that requires I act. It also helps to remember that scowl you get when I’ve done something really stupid. Your scowl is my inspiration! Let me know if you’d like me to send you a picture of me scowling for whenever you feel like not doing creative things. Also, I’ve almost got our instagram profile pic ready, so that should help with the taking pictures everyday. With your phone.
